Clewer & Dedworth Together began in 2021 after a simple conversation over coffee about bringing Christmas lights back to Dedworth Road.
What started with one idea has grown into a community organisation creating events, supporting local projects and bringing thousands of people together.
Everything we raise is reinvested back into Clewer and Dedworth.
It started with Christmas lights.
In 2021, a conversation about bringing Christmas lights back to Dedworth Road quickly developed into something much bigger.
Our first Christmas Fair took place later that year and showed just how much appetite there was for community events that brought local people, organisations and businesses together.
Since then, our events and projects have continued to grow. Rock the Rec has become our annual summer music festival, the Christmas Fair remains an important part of our calendar, and community projects continue throughout the year.
Clewer & Dedworth Together is now a Community Interest Company, allowing us to continue building on that original idea while ensuring the money we raise benefits the area in which it was generated.

Our aim is simple: bring people together, create opportunities to get involved and use the money raised through our work to make a positive difference locally.
Community projects
We support initiatives that benefit local residents, from Christmas lights and digital inclusion to community-led projects and activities.
Accessible events
We work with local organisations to help ensure families are able to enjoy our events, even when cost might otherwise be a barrier.
Volunteering
Our volunteers range from teenagers to people in their eighties, with opportunities for people of different ages and abilities to contribute and develop confidence.
Bringing people together
At the heart of everything we do is the belief that community events and shared experiences help people feel more connected to the place where they live.
All profits go back into our community.

The people behind it.
Clewer & Dedworth Together is organised by local people who give their time to plan events, support projects and keep everything running behind the scenes.
Lee Hibbard
Lee is one of the driving forces behind Clewer & Dedworth Together and is well known throughout the community for her enthusiasm, commitment and ability to bring people together.
As the person behind Woody's Café in Pirate Park, Lee has created a welcoming community hub where people of all ages can meet, relax and connect.
Amy Tisi
Amy has lived in Clewer for many years and is passionate about creating opportunities for local people to connect.
As Treasurer, Amy oversees the organisation's finances while also playing an important role in administration, communications and event planning.
Alison Carpenter
Alison is a Windsor resident, local councillor and Secretary of Clewer & Dedworth Together CIC.
Alongside organising events, Alison manages much of the administration, marketing, communications, website work and event planning.
Gavin Ingels
Gavin oversees much of the live entertainment that has become an important part of our events.
Working closely with musicians, performers and technical teams, Gavin coordinates stage programmes and helps ensure everything runs smoothly.
